The meeting will bring together a blend of current and former African leaders, academics, and policy experts to reflect on the continent’s evolving security landscape and explore coordinated responses to emerging threats.

The Tana Forum, over the years, has established itself as one of Africa’s leading high-level platforms for dialogue on peace and security. It convenes heads of state—past and present—alongside thought leaders and governance experts to interrogate pressing security concerns affecting the continent.

This year’s discussions are expected to centre on a range of issues, including violent conflicts, terrorism, political instability, and other emerging threats that continue to challenge peacebuilding efforts across Africa.

For more than a decade, the forum has provided a strategic space for frank exchanges and policy reflection, contributing to efforts aimed at strengthening continental cooperation on security matters.

Now in its 12th year, the Tana High-Level Forum continues to position itself as a critical platform for shaping Africa’s peace and security agenda, with a focus on practical recommendations and long-term stability.
