Romanian Tennis Federation coach, Tudor Diaconu, headlined the 2026 Ace National Junior Tennis Camp in Accra, which brought together 60 young and emerging tennis players for a five-week development programme.
The camp, which was headlined by Naa Shika Adu (through Africa Sports Alliance) and the Baffour Asiamah-Adjei Trust, was endorsed by the Ghana Tennis Federation and also featured World Tennis Development Officer Amine Ben Maklhouf

The programme delivered more than 100 hours of on-court training, alongside coaching development sessions led by Diaconu, an ATP coach with experience working with the Romanian Tennis Federation.
The 60 participants were divided into different age groups based on their stages of development. Thirty-six players aged 10 and under took part during the first two weeks, while 24 players aged 14 and under participated during the final two weeks.

The programme also recognised the different training, supervision, communication and safeguarding needs of younger children and teenagers.
