Former Okwawu United defender Collins Ntiful is set to make his Ghana Premier League debut after joining Karela United ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old centre-back has signed a two-year contract with Karela United and is expected to strengthen their defence for the new campaign.
Ntiful began his career with Kumasi-based Division Two side Sampdoria FC before playing for Phar Rangers FC and Susubiribi FC.
He later joined Okwawu United, where his performances attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including former champions Bibiani Gold Stars.

During the 2025/26 Division One League season, Ntiful made 20 appearances, scoring two goals, providing one assist and winning one Man of the Match award.

Speaking exclusively to Citi Sports after completing the move, Ntiful said he is determined to make the most of the opportunity.
“This is a new chapter in my career. I want to develop, help the team achieve its aims, and represent the club with pride and passion. I am happy to be here,” he said.
Karela United will open their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign away to FC Samartex on September 5, with Ntiful hoping to make his top-flight debut.
