The agreements were concluded during the state visit of Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa to Ghana.

The MoUs cover a wide range of areas, including political and diplomatic consultations, research and training in foreign service institutes, sports and recreation development, health, energy, archives, tourism, and trade.

Key partnerships were also established between the Institute of African Knowledge and the Ghana Museum and Monument Board on African liberation projects

Additionally, a separate agreement was signed with the private sector, formalising collaboration between Zoomlion Ghana Limited and Geo Pomona Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd.
