Vision FC’s assistant coach, Burton Asare Wilson, has revealed that his team has devised a strategy to disrupt Hearts of Oak’s gameplay when they meet on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League. Wilson stated that Hearts of Oak’s strength lies in their goalkeeper and the three players in the middle, and Vision FC plans to counter this by overloading the space and occupying the half-spaces.
“We have planned to counter the three in the middle, we will also make sure that we overload that space, occupy the half-spaces, and apply man-oriented pressing to neutralize them,” Wilson added.
Vision FC is currently in 10th place on the league table, having accumulated 14 points from 11 matches, while Hearts of Oak is in 6th place with 18 points from 11 games.
Hearts of Oak’s coach, Didi Dramani, has urged his team to focus on building a clear identity and direction, emphasizing the importance of consistency in their gameplay.
