During a live X (formerly Twitter) session, Sarkodie revealed that he’s been a huge fan of Shatta Wale’s work since his early days as Bandana. “Bandana was the type that, when you told him to rhyme with anything, he would just go off instantly. As a rapper, that’s the kind of energy I admired from day one,” Sarkodie said, highlighting Shatta Wale’s impressive freestyle mastery and stage presence.
Interestingly, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have collaborated in the past, with over 16 exclusive tracks recorded together, according to Shatta Wale. Their past collaborations include hits like “Megye Wo Girl” and “DanceHall Commando (Remix)”.
