The National Service Authority (NSA) has assured national service personnel that their September 2025 service allowance will be paid soon, as the necessary administrative processes are nearing completion.
In a public notice, the NSA acknowledged the concerns of personnel regarding the delay in payment of their allowance. The Authority confirmed that all necessary documentation needed for the release of the funds has been completed, and it is awaiting final approval from the Accountant-General.
“The Directorate of Finance and Administration has confirmed that all necessary documentation and submissions have been completed and are currently with the Office of the Accountant-General for final approval and release of funds,” the statement read.
The NSA assured personnel that payment would be made immediately after approval from the Office of the Accountant-General and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the timely disbursement of allowances in the future.
“We value your service to the nation and encourage all personnel to remain calm as we work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve this matter promptly,” the statement added.
The NSA’s clarification comes after several national service personnel took to social media to express concern over the delay in receiving their September stipends.
