Ghanaian rapper Medikal has opened up about his experiences as a father, public perception, and his upcoming BYK concert scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Medikal, whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong, recently welcomed his second child, Space Frimpong, with his girlfriend Eazzy.
Medikal shared that he named his son Space to represent freedom, possibility, and an “infinite world”. He also talked about his first child, Island, and how she’s already joining him on stage. Medikal expressed his commitment to raising his children and giving them the attention they deserve.
Regarding public perception, Medikal believes people often misunderstand him due to his public image. He stated, “Some people say I’m rude, but when they meet me, they realize I’m different. I like reality. I don’t fake anything”.
The rapper is set to perform at the BYK Concert on December 13, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, promising an unforgettable night with special guest performers and surprise collaborations. Medikal’s influence in the music industry continues to grow, with a strong following in Ghana and beyond.
