Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has praised Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus for his improved form, highlighting his fresh energy and decisiveness on the pitch. Kudus has been in top form, scoring his first Champions League goal for Spurs in their 3-0 win over Slavia Prague.
Frank noted that Kudus started the season well but had a dip in performance, however, over the past three to four weeks, he has regained his energy and decisiveness. “Mo started the season quite well, had a dip but last 3-4 games he has had that freshness, energy and decisiveness back,” Frank said.
Kudus has been instrumental in Spurs’ recent successes, racking up three goals and delivering six assists in 21 appearances across competitions. His impressive performances have earned him praise from former Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, who described him as a “breath of fresh air” for Tottenham
Kudus scored in Spurs’ 3-0 win over Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League with his goal coming in the 50th minute from the penalty spot.
After registering his sixth assist this season in Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Newcastle in the EPL, Kudus followed it up by scoring his debut Champions League goal in a Tottenham shirt.
Speaking in a post-game presser according to the BBC, Thomas Frank praised Kudus’ improved form by stating that,
“Mo [Kudus] at the start of the season did well and then had a dip and now the past three or four weeks he’s got fresh energy, acceleration and decisiveness in his actions. Getting more in sync with the team too – all that is important.”

Spurs take on Nottingham Forest away from home in its next league fixture on Sunday, December 14.
