New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has made a passionate appeal to party delegates in the Western North Region to entrust him with the party’s leadership ahead of the 2028 presidential elections. He promised to prove his worth within four years, emphasizing that his leadership would bring results or he would willingly step aside.

“I beg you, give me a chance for at most four years. If I fail, you can remove me and give someone else the opportunity. That person can learn from my mistakes. If I succeed, you can allow me to continue. Please, let us develop our country and our party,” Kennedy Agyapong declared. He positioned himself as the most credible candidate to lead the NPP to victory, stressing that he is committed to working for the ordinary Ghanaian, not enriching himself or making empty promises.

Kennedy Agyapong expressed confidence that his message of accountability and practical leadership would resonate with delegates. “Ghanaians are tired of talk. They want action. If you give me the chance, I will show the difference between promises and delivery. Judge me by my work, not my words,” he emphasized. This message aligns with his determination to deliver tangible results for Ghanaians.

The NPP presidential primaries, slated for January 31, 2026, are expected to be highly competitive, with several aspirants vying for the party’s leadership. This is Kennedy Agyapong’s second attempt at leading the NPP, having placed second to Dr. Bawumia in the party’s 2024 flagbearership race. He maintains that lessons from his first bid have made him more prepared and determined to succeed. With his passionate appeal and commitment to accountability and practical leadership, Kennedy Agyapong is poised to make a strong impression on NPP delegates
