The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohamed Mubarak, has announced a revised date for the nationwide recruitment exercise into the Police, Prisons, Fire, and Immigration Services.
Originally scheduled for November 15, 2025, the exercise will now commence on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Speaking at a press briefing in Accra, the Minister explained that the adjustment was necessary to allow the Ministry to restrategize and decentralize the recruitment process for greater efficiency.
The recruitment will be conducted entirely online, but applicants without reliable internet access can purchase application vouchers at Ghana Commercial Bank and Ghana Post to facilitate the process.
To prevent overcrowding, recruitment centres will screen 1,000 applicants daily—split into 500 in the morning and 500 in the afternoon.
The exercise will also be conducted in phases, with each security institution recruiting in turn to maintain orderliness.
The press briefing was attended by the heads of the Prisons, Fire, and Immigration Services, as well as a representative of IGP.
