Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for an official state visit at the invitation of President William Samoei Ruto. President Mahama touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where he was received by Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, and other senior government officials.

The visit marks a significant diplomatic engagement between the two countries, with President Mahama serving as the Guest of Honour at Kenya’s Jamhuri Day celebrations. He will attend a luncheon at the State House hosted by President Ruto, providing an opportunity for bilateral discussions.

President Mahama is accompanied by senior officials, including Dr. Callistus Mahama and Stanislav Xoese Dogbe. The visit is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, underscoring the strong ties between Ghana and Kenya and their commitment to fostering further cooperation and friendship.

President Mahama exchanged pleasantries with the welcoming delegation.

Following the celebrations, he will be hosted to a luncheon by President Ruto.
