GCB Bank PLC has donated to Maltiti Care International’s Maternal Health Summit and Fistula Surgeries Project, aiming to improve women’s health in Ghana. The event brings together stakeholders to discuss maternal health issues and identify solutions.
Maltiti Care International, established in 2019, focuses on providing free fistula surgeries, promoting maternal health awareness, and empowering vulnerable women and girls. The foundation has collaborated with organizations like the National Youth Authority and Islamic Ummah Relief.
“GCB Bank PLC’s support will enable us to conduct meaningful conversations and change the lives of vulnerable women and children,” said Maltiti Sayida Sadick, founder of Maltiti Care International.
The Maternal Health Summit will discuss critical issues, including obstetric fistula and maternal mortality, and launch the “Nurture Box” initiative to support mothers and children. GCB Bank PLC’s donation demonstrates its commitment to corporate social responsibility and improving Ghanaian lives.
