The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has called for unity and development among the Ga-Dangbe people, emphasizing the need for peace and cooperation in the face of recent tensions. He made this appeal during the 29th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of Maranatha Power Ministries International, where he was a special guest.

The Ga Mantse expressed his relentless commitment to serve the Ga-Dangbe people with all his heart and soul, affirming his passion and love for the Ga heritage. “I will protect the dignity of the Ga-Dangbe people,” he assured, citing Jeremiah 30:19 and 20, which describes God’s promise to restore His people.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II expressed deep sadness over the ongoing tribal conflicts, which he said have been fueled by controversies surrounding the replacement of the Akan word “Akwaaba” (Welcome) with the Ga word “Oobake” at major landmarks, including Kotoka International Airport and the Kwame Nkrumah Museum. He urged the Ga-Dangbe people to remain united and focused on development, rather than allowing conflicts to divide them.

The Ga Mantse’s message was well-received by the congregation, who appreciated his call for unity and development. The 29th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service was a celebration of faith and reflection, marking another milestone in the history of Maranatha Power Ministries International.
