Former Vice President and 2024 NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will embark on a nationwide campaign tour starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 15, to seek support for his bid to become the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The campaign will take Dr. Bawumia to all 276 constituencies across the country.
The tour is designed to enable Dr. Bawumia to engage directly with key stakeholders, including polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency executives, former Members of Parliament, and former MMDCEs. The campaign team has emphasized the need for issues-based engagement and civil discourse, calling on all communicators, supporters, and volunteers to refrain from personal attacks and insults. Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team has reiterated the importance of maintaining party unity and respect for fellow aspirants, their families, and supporters. During the campaign, Dr. Bawumia will share his vision for the party and the country, working collectively towards a resounding victory for the NPP in the 2028 general elections
