Member of Parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi, has strongly endorsed former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the most suitable candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2028 general elections. According to Oppong Nkrumah, Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional preparation, nationwide popularity, and proven track record make him the party’s best chance at securing victory.
“The whole essence of a political party is to mobilise numbers to win power so that you can inculcate your ideas into government. Today, there is one person who has come so clean,” Oppong Nkrumah stated in an interview with Citi News. He described Dr. Bawumia as “the most prepared candidate” and praised his leadership qualities and strong reputation across the country.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is indeed the most prepared candidate, most marketed across the country, and most prepared in terms of his track record and pedigree to ensure that we can win in 2028 and govern in 2029, Oppong Nkrumah stressed. He further commended Dr. Bawumia’s personality and ability to unite people within the party and beyond, noting that he embodies the character values that the conservative party looks out for, including his humility, emotional intelligence, and ability to bring people together.
