Aglow Int’l mourns Nana Konadu, celebrates her lifelong service to women

Aglow International has paid glowing tribute to the late former First Lady and President of the 31st December Women’s Movement, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, describing her as a visionary leader and tireless champion of women’s empowerment.

In a statement signed by its National President, Mrs Dorothy Danso, the National Executive and entire membership of Aglow expressed profound sorrow over her passing, noting that her life’s work transformed the fortunes of countless Ghanaian women.

Mrs Danso described Nana Konadu as “a woman of purpose and passion” whose lifelong commitment to uplifting women left an indelible mark on Ghana’s social and political landscape

“On behalf of the entire Aglow family, we pray that God, the Comforter, will console and strengthen the bereaved family, her children, and all who mourn this great woman,” Mrs Danso said. “May the Almighty grant them peace, and may her legacy of service, courage, and empowerment continue to shine brightly in the hearts of women across Ghana and beyond.

Aglow International further assured the Rawlings family of its continued prayers and support during this period of mourning.
