Aburi Girls’ Senior High School marked its 79th Speech and Prize-Giving Day, emphasizing the importance of discipline, digital responsibility, and excellence. Deputy Chief of Staff, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, delivered the keynote address, urging students to uphold integrity, humility, and upright leadership, while navigating the digital world responsibly.

Addo highlighted the government’s Education Reset Agenda, which includes improvements to the Free SHS policy, school feeding, infrastructure, and teacher welfare. She commended Aburi Girls’ SHS for being a “Light on the Hill” and shaping morally grounded future leaders.

The event featured cultural displays, exhibitions, and prize presentations, with Headmistress Wilhelmina Obuobisa-Atakora appealing for support to address furniture shortages, incomplete teacher housing, and water scarcity.
