Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has donated food and household items to widows in his constituency as part of his Christmas outreach program. The gesture is aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and spreading joy during the festive season.

The donation is part of Ablakwa’s ongoing efforts to support his constituents, particularly those affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage. Earlier, he had provided relief items, including life jackets, and established a fund to support flood victims.

Ablakwa’s commitment to his constituents has earned him recognition, including the title “Torgui Wordgedzi” from the Chiefs and people of North Tongu. His humanitarian work and advocacy for transparency have made him a respected figure in Ghanaian politics
The beneficiaries received assorted food items including bags of rice, cooking oil, milk, milo, canned fish, biscuits, and soft drinks.
In addition, wax print fabrics, blenders, and electric irons were distributed to support their household needs.
He highlighted that the initiative forms part of his broader commitment to social protection and community support, particularly for vulnerable groups within the constituency.
“God bless all widows and the aged you occupy a special place in our hearts,” he stated.
