The grandchildren of Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings have paid an emotional tribute to their grandmother, describing her as a guiding light who left an indelible mark on their lives. In heartfelt messages, they recalled her love, wisdom, and unwavering support, which inspired them to pursue their passions and make a positive impact.
“A world without her is to imagine a world without sun, without birdsong, without laughter,” one of the grandchildren said, reflecting on the profound impact Nana Konadu had on their family and Ghana as a whole.
The grandchildren fondly remembered Nana Konadu’s kindness, generosity, and dedication to empowering women and children. They recalled her pioneering work in establishing the 31st December Women’s Movement, which transformed the lives of countless women and girls across Ghana.
As they bid farewell to their beloved grandmother, they expressed gratitude for the values she instilled in them, including resilience, compassion, and the importance of giving back to their communities.
