The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has issued a public warning over fraudulent recruitment schemes being circulated by individuals posing as agents of the Commission.
In a statement dated 16 April 2026, the Commission clarified that it has not commenced any recruitment exercise and has not authorised any person or group to recruit on its behalf.
“NACOC has not authorised, contracted, or engaged any person or organization to recruit on its behalf,” the statement said.
The Commission said it has become aware of false claims by individuals promising employment opportunities within the organisation and urged the public to disregard such messages.

It further cautioned members of the public against paying money or submitting personal details to anyone claiming to facilitate recruitment into the Commission.
“The public is strongly advised not to pay money or provide personal details to anyone claiming to offer recruitment into the Commission,” it warned.
NACOC added that individuals involved in the fraudulent activity will be arrested and prosecuted.
The warning comes amid rising concerns over job-related scams targeting unsuspecting applicants through fake recruitment announcements attributed to state institutions.
