Ghana’s Rugby League fraternity is gearing up for a significant international outing as a select national delegation prepares to travel to Nigeria for the upcoming Rugby League All-Star Game scheduled for 19 April 2026 at Alaro City, Lagos.
The fixture will see an All-Star Team—comprising elite players from Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria—take on the Nigeria Green Falcons in a showcase match designed to strengthen regional collaboration and accelerate the growth of Rugby League across Africa. The Ghana delegation is expected to be in Nigeria from 17 April to 20 April 2026, taking part in training sessions and pre-match activities ahead of the highly anticipated encounter.

Ghana has been invited to present a delegation of seven players and one Team Manager. In a notable development, Ghana’s Chris Dagama has been appointed as the Team Manager for the entire All-Star Team, a testament to the country’s growing influence within the African Rugby League landscape.
The players selected to represent Ghana are Fati Bhom, Ateng Abisitemi Charity, Eunice Lawoe, Hammond Gracelove, Hilaria Wuaku, Princess Avorkah, and Elizabeth Adongo. The squad reflects a strong blend of talent and experience, and they are expected to play a key role in the combined team’s performance.
