Former Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has shared his sentiments about Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane during Zidane’s time as head coach of the Spanish club.
The legendary French player turned coach led Real Madrid to win the UEFA Champions League title three times in a row in a record setting fashion. Real Madrid also won the Spanish La Liga title during Bale’s time at the club
Speaking to the WeAreTheOverlap Podcast, the Welsh legend spoke about his time at Real Madrid and his views on Zidane’s head coaching style in his time there.

“Zidane as manager? I will be honest, he didn’t really do that much. We would do a LITTLE BIT of tactics before facing Barça or Bayern. 15 minutes of defensive tactics. Other than that, it was just some possession games, shooting on goal, and then go home” Bale said.
