Ghana’s U-20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses, have left Accra for Johannesburg to face South Africa in the second leg of their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier. The team, led by coach Charles Simpson, traveled with a 20-member squad on Tuesday, aiming to overturn the 2-2 draw from the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The decisive match is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa. A win will secure Ghana’s eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland this September.

Twenty players were called up for the return leg in Johannesburg and left Accra on Tuesday evening, together with the technical team.
The return fixture will be played on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa.
Ghana is aiming to book their eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, scheduled to take place in Poland in September 2026.
