President John Mahama has given the assurance that only qualified persons will be recruited into the Ghana Armed Forces.
He said twelve thousand candidates are expected to be recruited nationwide in the next three years. At the Ghana Military Academy Graduation Parade in Accra for Regular Career Course 64 and Special Duties Course 62 of 256 new officers, the President said transparency, fairness and merit will guide the process of selection.
President has urged all persons to be security conscious to augment the efforts and sacrifices of the security services to fight terrorism.
