A deadly clash between two youth factions in Sankor, Winneba, Central Region, has resulted in one person being killed and several others injured. The victim, identified as Excoba, sustained multiple machete and gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred on Sunday, January 25, but the cause of the clash remains unclear. Disturbing videos circulating on social media show members of the rival groups attacking each other with machetes.
Winneba Divisional Police Commander, ACP Ibrahim Opoku, confirmed the incident, stating that several people were injured. Police have arrested multiple suspects after reviewing the videos and have intensified operations in the area to restore calm.

The police are continuing their investigations to establish the cause of the clash and bring perpetrators to justice.
