The Global Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, Rev. Dominic Yeo, has arrived in Accra to officially launch the 2026 World Congress, a major international gathering of Assemblies of God adherents. Rev. Yeo, who is also the General Superintendent of Singapore Assemblies of God, was received at the airport by Rev. Stephen Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.



The 2026 World Congress, scheduled to take place from October 14-16, 2026, is expected to attract over 10,000 delegates from around the world, making it a significant event for Ghana’s religious tourism sector. Rev. Yeo praised Ghana’s peaceful and democratic environment, citing it as a key factor in the decision to host the congress in the country

The launch event will be preceded by a two-day Marriage and Leaders Seminar, focusing on topics such as managing difficult partners, conflict resolution, and effective church branding.
