The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year.
According to the statement signed by the Director General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, a total of 85,159 personnel drawn from accredited tertiary institutions across Ghana have been deployed to both private and public user agencies to undertake their one year mandatory national service.
The Authority indicated that this number excludes applicants whose data had issues or were under review, including teachers, nurses, and midwives. Such individuals are categorized under the data mismatch category, with their postings expected to be released in subsequent batches. “As such, the total number of postings is expected to rise in due course,” the statement added.
The release further outlined that a total of 150,937 students were uploaded onto the system, 91,339 paid for PIN codes, 85,459 were verified using their Ghana Cards, and 85,159 completed the registration process.
To ensure a smooth process, the NSA advised all prospective service personnel to strictly adhere to the registration and validation procedures. Personnel are required to:
1. Check their placement on the official NSA website via gnsa.gov.gh,
2. Print their appointment letters for endorsement,
3. Book appointments for online registration, and
4. Complete the regional validation process using their Ghana Cards.
The statement emphasized that regional validation and registration will begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and end on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The Authority also cautioned personnel against engaging the services of middlemen or scam syndicates who promise to alter postings, reiterating that it does not employ third parties in its deployment exercise.
The 2025/2026 national service is scheduled to officially commence on Monday, November 3, 2025.
